Quick Update

• Now, my living room has a couch, two chairs, a shelf, and a desk! It's becoming more homey! I still need a few more things to make it just above the poverty line but it's getting there. :) 

• I've been making my own decorations. Pictures and words are worth more to me than any knick-knack! Therefore, I've been framing pictures with color paper and cutting out letters to make my own posters. It takes time but I like creative projects like this. 

• Christmas was fine here. I was wishing for a white Christmas and on the third day of Christmas, Dec. 26, I got it! Now it has been snowing on and off for the last week. It's a beautiful winter wonderland here. My eyes love seeing it but my toes hate walking in it. 

• Bethany has been staying with me since break started and she will head out on Jan. 1st. On the 2nd, my friend and roommate from Perugia will come visit. It's exciting to have guest and I'm so thankful during the holidays. It will be strange once everyone is gone. 

• I have created a very serious new year, new goals, new choices schedule. There is so much I want to achieve in 2015 that I need to map out my week so I make sure I'm working on all of them. This includes working out, hockey, learning german, cleaning my house and other chores! Also, I'm investing time into working on my resume and educating myself on Common Core Standards and Learning Focused Schools. If anyone can point me in the right direction, send me an email!
