the
School
List
Things at school are a bit
crazy, overwhelming, and incredibly stressful. We have had a three day weekend
and it was very much needed by all. I can’t and won’t get into details because
none of it will make sense just know that it’s not just me being
overwhelmed-it’s all of us. A new school brings lots of challenges.
But my kids, are
wonderfully and they take care of me in so many ways!

the
Shopping List
Last Saturday, Natalie and I went shopping at Rathuas Steglitz. This part of town has numerous shopping centers including three malls along this strip of street. I ended up buying cleaning supplies, a new scarf, and a shirt. Also, I purchased a new bag. To say I'm in love with it would be an understatement. I am not someone who spends a lot of material goods of one thing… I may spend a lot on many material goods. Anyway, my point is I am not a name brand caring kind of girl. I just couldn’t resist buying this beauty of a bag. Plus, it was certainly time to invest because my old bag was falling apart at the seams! Literally!
My other purchase that I think you will be happy to read about is a new bike! Yes, that’s right I have found love again! One of my parents found it for me and honestly, I couldn’t have found a better bike myself. Yesterday, I traveled an hour and half to north Berlin to pick it up. I thought I knew my way back to the station, well after touring Wittenau and biking over 3 miles, I finally found my way back to the U-bahn to get home. Yesterday alone I biked close to 10 miles. I’m so in love with it! Plus, Natalies lives 2.5 miles away- it’s the perfect bike ride to her house.

In two weeks, I will be on
my way to new cultures I’ve never experienced before. And tomorrow I buy my
ticket to The National Ballet in Prague. Oh, I’m so thrilled to see The
Nutcracker at Christmas.

Other
List
Other news… this week I’m
making rolled up French Toast stuffed with Nutella. I’m dying to try this. They
look like this… (Pinterest)
Monday I have my first
physical therapy appointment for my back. I can’t wait to go and hopefully,
things will feel better soon!
Also, I have done some
eating. There was a street food fair. I had a delious pork sandwich and the
best ice cream I’ve tasted in Berlin. The one flavor was lemon with blueberry! Plus yesterday was the Unification of Germany so there was
another little fair with food, drinks, and rides. We walked around but ended up
eating at The Bird!
For now, xoxo
