The free spirit of a first grader always surprises me. Today as I walked my students to specials, I stepped into the stairway to watch them walk carefully down the concrete steps. Thinking this was the most important place for me to be! Not knowing, in the hallway ten steps from me (around the corner) is "George". George decides to stop in the hallway do a front tumble and get up and continue to walk. The librarian saw this and said the 22 years that she has taught, she never saw a student do this!
Needless to say, my classroom is never dull. Second neither is my life --I realized this weekend that my flight home is May 10th and my graduation is May 11th. Cutting it a bit close!
Anyway, that's all for now. Write more soon. Maybe an opinion soon... I just need the energy.
