I thought this day would never come. It's Friday afternoon here and I realized I haven't kept up with my blogging this week. Not that this week went by quickly but every second seemed to be filled with classes, lesson plans, work, and even the moment to relax I had to plan. Now, I am free for the weekend... well, kind of.
Just to debrief, I had an OK week. On Sunday, my parents and my sisters came to deliver my text book that was behind in the mail. We spent the afternoon at the Hershey Outlets and went to dinner at Red Robin. The girls are always full of giggles and surprises! Then classes started again. Below is a picture of my science class. We tend to try new activities. Although they are very cool, I have no idea why the oiled wooden stick can go through the balloon without popping it. Those are the things I would like to know when a student asks! To the far right is a photo of my play and projects class. (You must think all I do is play... and that is sort of true -in class!) The photo represents our playground and we were to talk about our past play experiences. This class is designed to have us incorporate play into our curriculum and to know the importance of play.
Now that school has started and the projects and test are right around the corner... I spend a large chunk of time in my friend's Kris's room. She makes the note cards and then we talk to each other about the material. It's how we study and it works! However, the amount of time needed differs between the two of us... we still make a great pair! (These are my boots.I always take my shoes off and make myself at home.)
The other fanastic thing that happened this week was my bag came! I've been searching for a nice bag that is big enough for my computer and still looked professional enough for student teaching. I found it. And it is huge! I can fit my computer and about ten other large things! I attached a photo just to prove it! It's wider than me!
Near or far, I hope each you have a great weekend! I better get back to my list... five lesson plans. BOO! At least, I look good with my bag!
