The three blondes-- Paula, Petra, and Hannah. We took a walk to a farm. |

There we fed the sheep. |

This is their home. Isn't it beautiful! Since the last time I visited, they put in a sauna. |
Camp

Beautiful view at camp. Still longing to go sailing. |

Ping-pong in our front yard. |
I forgot to mention that at camp, I got in-touch with my sporty side again. It has been way too long! Let me just say... I have a decent ping-pong serve. I enjoy shooting baskets -it's a solo activity for me. May I add, I scored two goals in hockey. I think I still got it - a little.

The days when we needed a four hour trip to get anything but a yellow school bus are over. Hello, one hour ride! |
No s'mores. German bonfire means cooking dough and making bread. |
- I'm learning I have no problem eating the same thing every day -even if it's not so good. Let's just say I forgot some key ingredients to make my soup better and I was too lazy to go to the store. It's still not bad.
- I'm learning which chores I hate to do and I will have to bribe my one day husband to do.
- I'm learning I do value chocolate over wine. I'm a bit surprised by this finding. I love wine but I don't need to drink it every day or even week. I don't remember the last time I had a glass. But today while getting my gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week I was going to get a bottle. I ended up not getting one because my hands were too full with chocolate.
- I long to be able to talk with people in the grocery line. The man in-front of me made a comment about my 10 packets of M&Ms and a can of tomato sauce. If I could only tell him, it's not all for me.
- Grocery shopping has been easier here. There are still a lot of questions- do you need receipt? debit or credit? do you need a bag? parking validated? The goal of grocery shopping is to say as little as possible, pack all your groceries in a considerable amount of time, and say no to any extra things.
- I would like to join a sports league but I don't know how or where to start. I'm also tempted to join a gym and I think I can afford it. I guess I should try to motivate myself first.
- I am thinking of some fun things to do for my coming guest - I am so excited to be a host! I would love to share but some of the girls read this.
I must go again. Time to eat dinner, 30 minutes of German, and some Bible time.
About the sports... we get a discount at the gym next to the school. :)
