Arrived

I've arrived. After a very long flight, we went through customs without a problem and got on a bus to Perugia. Lauren & I sat together as we took in the sites. Forgive us -it has been a very long trip for both of us.

Most of the sites looked like home -flat with some mountains. Although, here are a few good pictures of houses we passed.

I only had a handfull because I was exhausted and I needed to sleep.

After a two and an half hour drive, we arrived in Perugia. 

We are currently staying the night at Hotel Gio. I meet my roommates briefly -four other girls. We will find out where we are living tomorrow and will have breakfast together.

When we first arrived, we filled out some emergency information and then we got a packet. I got all of my classes.

Anyway, tonight we had dinner with the group. I sat with a handful of girls from Penn State to some school in New York. *Little Side Note: One of the guys from Penn State knows  Ryan K. -they lived across the hall from each other freshman year.* Moving on, at dinner we had a four course meal. We started with pasta with light red sauce, next we had a salad of greens with no salad dressing, then there was a half of chicken with backed fries in olive oil, and our final course was dessert. A rich chocolate pie with a layer of cake and a chocolate cream topped with very rich, dark chocolate drizzled on top. I have learned today, I can eat like an Italian. 

Right now, I believe I'm going to try and head to bed. We are all exhausted and overwhelmed.
